The Tree, Continued
The Everest boys came and sawed down the pine tree that was
located at the south west corner of our house.
We were sure that one day a strong wind would blow it onto the roof.
Not to mention all the pine needles that fell on the roof
and clogged the downspouts...
So. Now we are left with the stump.
Here is the IH 300, ready for work...
The IH 300 dug around the stump.
The idea was to pull the stump out, however,
the roots radiated out from the trunk
and were two to three inches in diameter.
So the chain saw was the next option.
Sawdust surrounds the trunk.
What a mess!
