Looking for Spring...

Clumps of daffodils in the woods,

Small yellow wildflowers,

A few purple wildflowers,

A small waterfall in a normally dry creek,

And the irises are ready for summer.

Hope you are seeing some signs of Spring in your neighborhood!

Surprise Birthday Party "30 X 2"

Surprise! Happy Birthday to both of you!

Hostesses, Paula and Kim, reading 'rememberances' of Charlie and Jane.

Cards and presents for the birthday duo.

Family and friends with birthday wishes. The best news of the day was the birth of the twins! Rose Catherine, Thomas Edward, big sister Lily, mother and father were all doing fine!

We made a trip to Dulles International Airport to see the recently opened National Air and Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center.

An Air France Concorde dominates the civil aircraft that are displayed under its wings and suspended overhead.

The Space Shuttle Enterprise is displayed in the 80 foot tall James S. McDonnell Space Hangar.

Rutan's Long Easy was made for amateur kit builders. Next to the Long Easy is the 'Crosley Flea'.

More than 200 aircraft are ultimately destined for the aviation hangar. The Donald D. Engen Observation Tower offers views of the Dulles International Airport runways. The complex contains an IMAX theater as well.
