Early Christmas Presents
A box from Harry & David was on the front porch...
One of Harry and David's 'Holiday Towers' containing four Royal Riviera Pears, bing cherry chocolates, chocolate truffles, chocolate decadence cake, Moose Munch caramel popcorn and Holland mints... yum, yum... along with a pair of ornaments for the tree... Thank you, Christine and Bob for this treat!

Progress report...
The 'perfect' Christmas tree...for us
a tree full and fat,
straight, green and tall,
with oodles of needles
and crannies and nooks
for us to hang
our tree things by hooks.
What might we find in his Christmas tree lot?
Few trees were left; we saw at first sight.
But, we were sure that one tree for us would be just right.
It wasn't too tall; but we didn't mind.

Cycling Awards
to the Cincinnati Cycle Club and the cycling community at the annual dinner/meeting. John has been the cluster leader of the West Chester Wheelmen for the last 22 years; Martha, the co-cluster leader for the last six years. Both have been involved in organizing the annual Spring Opener bicycle ride. Martha was Safety and Education chairman for several years and organized local bicycle rodeos. Both have earned the 'Brevet de Randonneur Cycliste' for riding 2000 miles in one year and participation in club activities. Although we don't ride as fast or as far or as often as we once did, we still plan to ride. Truly, 'retired bikers' are we ...
Many doorprizes were given throughout the evening. John had the lucky number to receive the Lance Armstrong Discovery Channel arm warmers... Today would be an outstanding day to use them - the high has been 30 degrees... (no snow, yet...)
