Old Timer's Days

We returned to the Greene County Fairgrounds in Xenia for the 43rd Annual Old Timer's Days.
Today is Friday. Friday, the admission for Seniors is $1.00.

The featured tractor is Ford.
The four rear tires were almost six feet tall!

A couple of nice looking John Deere's.
I liked the green wheel weights.

A nice set of Allis-Chalmers: a D10, D12, D14, D15, D17 and D19.
All restored by the same man.

A C-17 flew overhead and made a turn over the fairgrounds.

A miniature circus made with an Erector set was being run by the hit and miss engine.

Pete is here with a trailer of oil field drilling equipment.
His son will bring the second trailer.

A cedar log being cut into boards.

The boys sawing boards.

The day was sunny and warm.
The Boy Scouts didn't have their yummy bean soup ready.
We were so disappointed.
Some of us did have bean soup and corn bread from the dining hall.

There were three camels for the children to ride.

Today is Miss El's fifth birthday.
Happy Birthday to Miss El!
Saturday will be her birthday party.
