Memorial Weekend Trip

We drove up to the northeast part of the state.
High temperatures were predicted to be in the mid 60's.
The temperatures ranged in the mid 40's all day and the sky was overcast.
At least there were no mosquitoes while we planted the geraniums.

We stopped to see Uncle Walter on our way home.
Preparations were under way for a 'welcome summer' party.
First on the list: heat the water in the pool.

The temperature of the water had been 70 degrees,
but two days of cooler weather dropped the temperature back into the upper 60's.
Brrrrr.....

The party participants had set their tents up the night before.

The puppies were hoping for a hand-out.
