Hamilton's Fourth of July Parade
The parade this year celebrated Hamilton's 17 neighborhoods.
The parade begins.
Sheriff Richard K. Jones.
We watched the parade in the shade.
The morning temperature was in the mid to upper 80's.
Veterans rode in the Corvettes - naturally.
The Fairfield High School Band.
Hamilton Strong:
the seventeen communities.
The Niederman Family Farm:
the only tractor in the parade!
Another Hamilton Strong float:
with buildings representing each community.
The Kitch Greenhouses steam calliope ended the parade.

One interesting happening: the parade passes one of the Hamilton firehouses
just north of where we stood (to our right). About half way through the parade,
a fire engine and ambulance headed south on an emergency run.

The Fourth of July broke a heat record: the temperature topped out at 96 degrees.
the warmest temperature recorded at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky
