Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa
Our last full day at the villa in Ixtapa was Friday.
After a brief shopping trip to the local grocery, we swam in the pool
and organized for Saturday's departure.
There were other families staying at the villa, so the pool was quite busy.
Saturday morning, after a last swim, we packed and departed for the airport.
We enjoyed a second breakfast after checking in.
We said our 'good-byes' and headed for the gate.
Thank you Fred and Liz for inviting us to spend the week with you!
And guess who got to have her luggage and person searched before boarding?
That was a lot of fun!
On our flight to Chicago, we sat with a family whose week vacation
in Ixtapa included a 50th anniversary party for the
grandparents. The grandparents were flying back to Phoenix.
