Grandparents' Day

We drove to Louisville for Grandparents' Day.
Parents set up the Eagle's gym the night before.
Refreshments will be served at the far corner and to the left.

We visited Miss El's classroom.
She showed us her books and her journal.
Today's journal entry: "What do you like to do with your grandparents?"
Miss El drew a picture of the two of us riding bikes around the block.
No training wheels on Miss El's bike!

Grandma Meyers and I helped with the word find.

Mrs. Singer read a story about the 'hello - goodbye' window.
A child spends her day with her grandparents and says
'hello' and 'goodbye' through this window.
Then grandparents were dismissed to the cafeteria.

The first graders sang first, then walked around the gym.

We took home this beautiful mum.
Thank you!
