Tri-State Gas Engines and Tractor Association, Inc.

We drove to Portland, Indiana for the 50th Reunion of the
Tri-State Gas Engine and Tractor Association, Inc. show.

John Deere was the featured tractor.

John Deere 50, 60, 70 and 80.

An Indiana tractor.
The driver recruited a young lady to drive.

How easy is the Indiana to drive?
She even had a smile on her face.

A sewing machine?

Other interesting machines.

One of the most interesting things we saw were the windmills on the drive to Portland.
There were no windmills three years ago.

The windmills were north of Richmond near the city of Winchester.
(Looks like my lens needs cleaning!)

The other interesting thing we saw was
the Levi Coffin House in Fountain City.
The Levi Coffin House was a station on the Underground Railroad.
Levi was often referred to as the President of the Underground Railroad.
