Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure
The Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure started on Father's Day, Sunday, June 15.
The truck is packed and ready to go.
The route began in Mansfield, at the Richland County Fairgrounds.
We decided to keep our truck with us; taking turns driving and riding.
Team Bob's white Penske truck is beside our truck.
As is our custom, we slept in the truck Saturday night.
Sunday morning was chilly.
Greg caught us emerging from the 'sack.'
Molly and Katherine preparing for the ride.
Who was the 'lucky' person who had the Team Bob 'panties' by his/her tent?
Larry is our 'leader.'
He gets to sleep in the cab of the truck.
Ed and John elected to ride the first part of the route.
The first part was hillier than the second part.
The next group of pictures are on my phone.
I promised myself I would learn how to download the pictures
on to my computer..... :-)
Well, success!

The lunch stop in Jeromesville.
Bikers coming and going.
This is where we switched riding/driving.
The overnight stop was in Orrville,
at the University of Akron Wayne College Campus.
at the University of Akron Wayne College Campus.
One of the members of Team Bob needed to go home.
He lives in Lebanon; would we take him home?
We left GOBA Sunday evening and returned
Tuesday afternoon.

Monday and Tuesday were lay-over days at Lake Park in Coshocton.
A faithful Team Bob member who had knee-replacement surgery
last fall drove up from Kentucky to visit.
Tuesday evening, the 'musicians' entertained Team Bob.
They took turns playing the guitar.
Paco accompanied the guitarist on our water cooler (drum).

Wednesday, we took turns riding to Mt. Vernon.
I got the easy/short part on the bike trail.
Watch out for wet, wooden bridges on the bike trail.
Wednesday afternoon was the first time we put up our tent.
That night, we had rain, thunder and lightening.
The storm lasted most of the night.
Thursday, after a hearty breakfast at a local restaurant,
(we had the 'blue plate' special, served on blue plates)
we dried out our tent.
We slept in the truck Thursday night. :-)

Friday, we took turns riding to Bucyrus.
A four person tandem.
Friday afternoon, there was rain - again.
We enjoyed our Golden GOBA dinner,
then headed home.
