Mother's Day
We met the not-so-little people and their parents at the Two Rivers Restaurant in Carrollton for the traditional Mother's Day buffet.
After the buffet, we sat outside.
We brought belated birthday presents for K.K.
We walked around the Butler-Turpin House.
The detached kitchen. The garden is to the right.
We walked along the path, through the woods to the Butler Family Cemetery.
The small number of Butler men buried here served in five military war periods.
They served in the Revolutionary War, the Indian Wars, The War of 1812,
The Mexican War and The Civil War. Some served in more than one war.
