Valentine's Day Snow

Friday's snowfall pushed the 2013 - 2014 winter into the history books
as the fourth 'snowiest winter' in the recorded history for this area.
Forty three and one tenth inches of snow have fallen so far this winter.
If snowfalls for only December, January and February are counted,
this area has had the second snowiest winter.
Forty two and four tenths inches of snow fell in 1978.
Forty and four tenths inches of snow has fallen in 2014.
Two more inches and two weeks left in February.
Will we have the snowiest December, January and February on record?

Our road was blocked off because drivers couldn't negotiate the hill to the south.
Notice the tracks of all the cars that have turned around in our drive.
And the truck that pulled off the road.

The road south of us.

About three inches of snow on top of the mail box Saturday morning.
The truck is still there...

The sun is shining.
The drive has been plowed.
What a winter!
