February Snow

The first weekend in February was warm enough to wash the salt off the cars. Temperatures were in the upper 40's/low 50's.
We missed the snowstorm that blanketed northern Kentucky at the beginning of the week.
Wednesday, everyone woke to at least three inches of snow covered with a 1/2 inch of ice.

The sun room windows on the east side of the house were sheets of ice.

The whirly gigs were covered with ice.

No deer tracks in the yard this morning!

A week later, we have had more snow.
A sheet of ice remains in between blankets of snow.
