Lebanon Horse Carriage Parade

About 5 1/2 inches of snow fell overnight.
The deer played in the newly fallen snow.

We stood on the back side of the carriage parade route,
at the intersection of Cherry and Main Streets
to watch the 25th anniversary of Lebanon Chamber's
Horse Drawn Carriage Parade.
The sun was shining, but the temperatures were in the low-twenties.

In spite of the chilly temperatures,
many people were out to watch the parade.

The first carriage.
Some carriages were decorated in silver and white
in celebration of the 25th anniversary.

One of several carriages pulled by miniature horses.

The Grinch.
And who is that riding with him?

Slim and Sally with Mr. VanGordon.

A new entry this year.
A jail carriage with the Grinch on the inside!

The beautiful Clydesdales round the corner.

Last by not least, the horse drawn fire engine.

Normally, there are close to 125 carriages.
Because of the weather, fewer carriages participated.
