Camping and a Birthday
Noah's Boy Scout Troop is planning a camping trip.
Measuring the poles; the longest pole goes in the center.
The middle pole is in; next, one of the ends.
The pole on the other end goes in.
Success!
Of course, the fly needs to be added. But we are inside, practicing!

Noah and his mom arrived at the camp-out Saturday evening, just in time for dinner; grilled burgers and dogs, the trimmings. They put up the tent - unassisted!
I am so proud of them!
After the bonfire activities, Noah was ready to crawl into the tent... it had already started to drizzle.
About 10:00 p.m., our phone rang.
"Grandma! How do you get the bugs out of the tent?"
About 6:00 a.m., Noah woke. There was still a drizzle.
His mom promised him breakfast at McDonald's if he would help take down the tent... better than donuts, any day!
Success!

Drawing paper, gel pens and a dozen roses from Dad!
Followed by an all-you-care-to-eat birthday dinner at Golden Corral!
What could be better?
