The first evening at Uncle Walter's and after a swim in the warm pool, Little Miss El helped test out the mattress in the tent while the big kids played wii. "It needs more air, Grandma!" "Picky, picky, Little Miss El!"
The next morning, Uncle Walter made Belgium waffles with strawberries for breakfast. He grilled bacon, too. Ummm, mmmm!
While the big kids jumped off the diving board, Little Miss El was content to jump off/play at the side of the pool.
"I'm the baby. I can't jump off the board," says L.M.E. Then the next minute I hear, "No, Grandma! Don't help me! I'm a big girl!"
Wait! Who is that on the end of the diving board with a smile on her face? Airplane arms, L.M.E. Looks like she is a big girl!
Snacks, pictures taken by L.M.E.
There she goes again!
The big kids making shadow puppets.
Will they never leave?!?
Thank you, thank you Uncle Walter and Aunt Bee! You spoiled us! Thank you!
Weather Update...
Yesterday, we tied the 110 year old record set it 1901 for 17 days in a row with temperatures above 90 degrees. This morning, we had 'cooler' temperatures and a thunder/lightening storm that produced, at one point, 1000 strikes in 15 minutes. Next to no rain, though.
