Ah, Spring!




Ah, Spring!
The hours of daylight are increasing, the temperatures are getting warmer.
Jan and I watched the 'super moon' - the closest the moon has been to Earth for 18 years - rise in the eastern sky Saturday night.
The garden is plowed and there are tomato seedings growing in my planters.



Sunday was the 34rd annual Mercy Health Partners Heart Mini-Marathon and Walk. In spite of the cool temperatures, drizzle and wind, there were nearly 18,000 participants.
Perfect running weather, they say!
Jan and her friend Doris participate in the odd years.
The girls were pleased with the results of their run.






We met for lunch at Smokey Bones.


We had a birthday to celebrate, don'cha know?










The 'big' kids arranged the candles on the birthday pumpkin pie.
Bet you wish you could have a pumpkin pie for your birthday!
