Swimming Fun!

We visited Uncle Walter and Aunt Bea. And swam in their pool, of course.
The children had fun playing with the floats... and making themselves into 'sandwiches.'
Show us how to make a big splash, Uncle Walter!

We rented canoes. We weren't as brave as Uncle Fred who rowed his canoe up the Mississippi River; instead, we floated down the Tuscarawas River.
The children were ready with their water pistols!

Little Miss El wants a part of the action!
Notice the group of youngsters in the background. They got their money's worth out of their trip! Uncle Walter and I did almost as well!

Finally, we caught up with the speed demons!

They weren't getting their money's worth out of this trip. They happily floated down the river avoiding all the pitfalls!

"No splashing! We have the baby!"

Pretending to be asleep.

Getting ready for bed.

One afternoon, I pitched my tent. The skies grew dark. The wind started to blow.
The tent came down and went up in the basement.
Little Miss El got to play in the tent in the morning with her ball.

Thank you Uncle Walter and Aunt Bea for a wonderful time!

Comments:
Hello,
The grandkids are really growing, aren't they??!! It looks like they really had fun in Uncle Walter's pool. I wouldn't mind jumping into a pool right now!
Paula, Sam, and Peter came down on Saturday to help out after my knee surgery on Friday at 2:30.
I am doing great, and they left on Tuesday morning.
Loved your blog.
