Visitors

The Little People and their mom came up for a visit.

"May I play, too?" asks Little Miss El."

We had rain all day Friday, so we took a trip over to EnterTRAINment Junction . EnterTRAINment Junction is billed as the world's largest indoor, interactive model train display with 90 large-scale trains (1,200 cars), two miles of track, detailed cities, towns, villages and factories.

Half-way through the train displays, we stopped at the 5,000 square foot 'entertainment area'.

K.K. and Noah each had a list of items to 'find' within the train displays. Noah's scavenger hunt included items such as 'a man reading a newspaper', 'clothes drying on a clothesline', 'two kids on monkey bars', 'a dog on a grave' and 'two cyclists on the bike trail'
After noticing the size of the locomotive wheels, we went upstairs to watch the trains from above.

Then, on to "Jack-o-Lantern Junction."

We roamed through a Victorian House with 'spooky' decorations, a maze of mirrors that had us laughing, a series of chain link fences. We stopped for edible 'treats' along the way. There were twists and turns and always a surprise around the corner.

Comments:
Martha and John,
WOW! Your grandkids are adorable, but maybe Noah wouldn't want to hear that. They are all growing so big, but that does happen. K.K. must have lost one of her eye teeth, since she was pointing to it. Nichole has several of hers loose. Abbey has all of the front ones out.
The EnterTRAINment Center sounds great. I am sure that the kids had a BLAST.
It is starting to get COLD down here. Tomorrow is supposed to have a high of 48 degrees! BRRRR!
I am still hoping for "Indian Summer".
Two weeks and Todd, Kim and the girls are to move into their house in Keysville. I am sure they will be glad to be in their new place, and be able to unpack their warmer clothes!
Take care.
Jane
