Southwestern Ohio Antique Tractor & Power Association

We took a little trip up to the Preble County Fairgrounds for the 27th Annual Machinery Show.
On the way, we stopped in Camden for a 'training ride' around Lakengren. We had heat, hills, wind and horses at the bottom of one of the many hills! The riders had just come onto the road from a path through the woods.
I'm not sure who was more surprised!

A 1929 and a 1933 John Deere needing a little loving care.

The featured tractor was the Minneapolis Moline, but there were plenty of John Deere tractors.

The Miami Valley S Gaugers had their trains on display.

The top right hand corner shows the "Parade of Power".

The sawmill, with a 56" blade, was purchased in the Fall of 1991. In the Spring of 1992, work began to repair, restore and set up the mill for operation. The mill was ready for the 1992 show. The sawing that year consisted of logs donated by members for the construction of a building to house the mill. An open building (18'x 44') was framed and under roof by Thanksgiving.
Homer's Mill is operated by the steam engine.

An Indiana Six...

A nice show at the right price!
