Cool Temperatures

It may be the middle of July, but the temperatures feel more like May. Today's high will be only 80 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.
That's warm compared to the record-breaking cool temperatures the region witnessed last weekend.
The high temperature on Saturday was 70 degrees, five degrees below the 1938 record of 75 degrees. Saturday morning, the low temperature tied the 1924 record of 54 degrees!
