Bicycle Ride

This is the park where I start my bicycle rides. It's a little ways from our house, but gets me off the heavily traffiked section of our road.

There is a nice path around the edge of the park.

These two new elementary schools are within three miles of each other. We sometimes start our rides from the first school.

The hill up to the Kroger Plaza. I've been known to pick up an item or so at Kroger's, making the ride a 'commuter trip'.
There are three llama in with the horses. Look carefully at the right picture to see the head of a black llama.
The outlet mall will open in August. Wonder if I can walk my bike through the construction entrance? The farm on the right has peafowl: two peacocks and two peahens.
The next part of my ride is through rolling farm land - with emphasis on the word 'rolling'. Today, I also had a headwind as I headed west.
The road up to the 'screaming bridge'. The 'screaming bridge' crosses the railroad tracks.
Across the bridge and through a pretty section of road.
Our children attended this elementary school. Renovations/changes were made for the re-opening this fall of an early childhood center.
The original Hughes School sits just west of the school.

I return to the park on this little bit of a bike trail. Notice the sky. I had visions of rain through most of my ride.

Maybe later.

This is a plus/minus 22 mile route, taking a little under two hours to ride.
