The Snowy Day

Remember the children's story, The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats? Peter goes out into the snowy world and bangs his stick against the trees to make the snow fall off the trees. He trails a stick beside him to make tracks. He makes a snowball to bring inside to save for another day...Wednesday, with all the snow, reminded me of that story.
The sun was so bright, it was hard to take pictures!
Today's temperature will reach the low 40's. The sun is shining. Already, the piles of snow are shrinking!

Comments:
No, the only winter story I remember is the one about Katie the bulldozer. In fact, Katie now lives in Perm.
