Sa-rah! Sa-rah!

We had the opportunity to attend the 'Road to Victory Rally' this morning.
The skies were overcast and the temperature was in the low 50's. Folks were bundled up!
As we approached the event and stood in line, we chatted with a small business owner (women's lingerie) who had asked earlier in the morning if she might give Sarah Palin a present of a pair of soft pajamas and slippers. She was told, yes, just give the present to one of her aides.
In the lower middle of the picture on the right is the Bellamy Brothers' stage. It was fun listening to them while we waited!
The Secret Service were everywhere!
Congressman John Boehner introduced Sarah Palin. We sang the 'Star Spangled Banner' accompanied by the Bellamy Brothers.
She spoke for half an hour. She was then enveloped by the crowd in front of the podium, talking with supporters and autographing memorabilia - with the Secret Service close by.
Then, on to the next stop! I hope she enjoys those pajamas and slippers this evening!
Notice to you 'Independent' voters: this is the year to use your vote wisely on November 4th...
