It's elderberry season!

Will there be enough elderberries for a pie?
Mix the berries with a little sugar, tapioca and thinly sliced apples. Then, put in the pie shell.
Put on the top, bake at 400 degrees for a little over half an hour, and voila! A yummy elderberry pie!

Stop drooling and make one of your own!

Martha,

Too bad we don't have any elderberries down here. We haven't seen any at all. An elderberry pie would be DELICIOUS!
Just have tomatoes and peppers! They will be good in stir fry tonight.

Oh, Martha.... Elderberry is my favorite! Haven't had time to bake this week because of the Crawford County Fair but I did have three peices of elderberry pie there. One of the churches in the area always sells delicious pieces of pie and George and I stopped each day we were there. One of these days I'll be baking one at home. YOU'RE SOOOO TALENTED....VS
