38th Reunion
Ohio Valley Antique Machinery
Show

The special features of this years show are the steam engines and iron wheeled tractors.

Here are a few of the steam engines.

Here is Pete's iron wheeled 1925 John Deere D...completely restored!

One of the featured tractors is the 1908 International Friction Drive.
A second feature is the 1917 30-60 Titan IHC: one of 176 made, one of three left in the world.

The third feature this year is the 1915 30-60 Mogul IHC. One of 800 built; one of five left in the world and the only one restored.
Click on the pictures and read the stories that go with these featured tractors!

This 19-something Ford AA Doodlebug spent 28 years as a tractor and 30 years in a fence row before being restored. Pretty nice, huh?

Here is something everyone should have: each of these Copar Panzars is equiped differently. One has a plow, another a disc, another a blade, another a snowblower; you get the idea!

Volunteers are working to complete an 1860 one-room schoolhouse which was donated to the OVAM several years ago.

The school was originally located in Clermont County.

A group of volunteers has begun the restoration of the OVAM's 1920 Bucyrus Steam Shovel.

Last fall, the 140 tubes inside the boiler were removed. The boiler itself was taken off and relocated to a shop where work can be done year around.

The needed repairs will include new top and bottom sheets to hold the boiler tubes, replacing some rivets at the bottom of the boiler and making repairs around the firebox door.

The restoration will take at least two years. We look forward to seeing the steam engine restored!

Comments:
Is that Mary Anne?

As I recall, Mike Mulligan and his steam shovel, Mary Anne, dug the basement for the new town hall. Mike Mulligan became the janitor of the new town hall and Mary Anne became the boiler/heating system.
