When we returned from GOBA, we found three raccoons in the chimney. We tried to chase them out of the chimney, John on the inside, me watching on the outside. One of the raccoons put a left foot on the top of the chimney, followed by his right foot, then pulled his head up above the chimney. And me without my camera! The following morning, John checked the chimney and the raccoons were gone. He fixed a screen to put over the top of the chimney, so the raccoons could find a new home. While I was gone to Uncle Walter's, one of the raccoons was caught in the have-a-heart and let go in a 'wet-lands' area about a mile north of us. Well, today, another raccoon wandered into the have-a-heart.
He looked pretty comfortable; but I moved him a short distance into the shade, where he could take advantage of the strong west-south/westerly wind. You'll never guess what we put in the have-a-heart as a lure...
Into the truck, then out of the truck to another park way north of the freeway.
Oh, and by the way, while we were this far north, we stopped to see the trailers at Ben Hur Trailers... This is a nice looking trailer, don'tcha' think?
