Presents 'Neath the Tree

The morning high temperature of 46 degrees quickly dropped as a cold front moved through. We fired up the electric heater in the sun room to make opening presents more enjoyable.

K.K. opening presents... "I love presents," she says. And what could be better than a pink sweater? She is wearing her pink and purple gloves accompanied by her pink 'hearts' hat.
"A 'Cars' hat for me?" says Noah. Noah, wearing his 'Cars' hat and gloves.

Grandpa opening the third delivered package with a little help from Noah. Hmmm, what could it be?

It is called a "SunJar" . Place the jar in the sun to store up sunshine for the night-time. Awe-some!
"Thank you" to Christine and Bob for the SunJar!

Puzzling Puzzles...
K.K., also known as the 'bug lady', likes to complete puzzles.
SO.
Somebody found three dimensional puzzles of insects at his favorite store and purchased several of them as a 'father - daughter' project for K.K. and her father.

Voila!

The completed preying mantis!

K.K. thought that was so much fun, she was ready to complete another puzzle. "Grandpa, which would you rather do?" says K.K. "The bumblebee or the butterfly?"

K.K. with the completed three dimensional puzzles: a grasshopper, a bumblebee, a butterfly and the preying mantis.

Wow!
