The 37th Reunion of the Ohio Valley Antique Machinery Show featured John Deere tractors and John Deere gas engines.
John Deeres all in a row: 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80.
Two authentic John Deere bicycles: one a men's frame; the other, a women's frame. Note the attachment on the back of the men's frame!
John helped his friend, Pete, put up a brand new rectangular tent that would provide shade for Pete's completely restored 1928 John Deere D. We got some home made vanilla ice-cream, made with a hit-and-miss engine, for helping. The John Deere D was surrounded by admirers throughout the day. And, well, it should have been.
Other sights of interest included one of the steam engines, making cedar shingles and the steam shovel.
John checked out all the JD 3020s. Not a single 3010 to be found. And this might be? Seen on a T-shirt: "real tractors don't have spark plugs."
