Weekend Adventures...




All right, so I knew it was coming...but not so soon!

So here it is: a 1961 John Deere 3010 diesel with 60 horsepower that can pull a four bottom plow.




It has eight speeds forward, two reverse; power steering; two speed PTO and two remote hydraulics.









It has a smooth ride over all the animal holes in the back yard...








..and best of all, there is room in the 'toy house'.


Perfect!




Here's a bit of trivia: There were 44,000 John Deere 3010 diesels made between 1961 and 1964. This one is number 2497. We looked for decals at the Miami Valley Steam Thresher's Association show in Plain City. We were told the 3010 is too new to have decals... Who'da guessed?
