Today we head southeast through Munich to our destination of Salzburg, Austria, birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. We make a stop in Munich at the Lowenbrau Keller for lunch.
Two tables had been prepared for our group.

The pretzels were as good as they looked! We had a lunch of bratwurst, saurkraut with slivered horseradish. And, of course, Lowenbrau Lion's Beer.
As we got closer to Salzburg, the terrain began to change.
I was surprised by the stacks of fire wood near homes. We had driven through quite a rain storm before the sun came out again.
In Salzburg we were within walking distance of the river.
We took a walk after dinner. On the way to the 'old town', we passed the Schloss Mirabell and the beautiful flower gardens.
The Mozart Guest House; where the great composer was born.
And, not surprisingly, we saw this sign along the roads!
Monday and Tuesday, May 21 and 22 were spent in the beautiful medieval walled city of Rotherburg-ob-der-Tauber.
Saturday, May 19, we visited Schloss Sanssouci in Potsdam with a stop in Wittenburg. Sunday, May 20, we enjoyed a tour of the Meissen porcelain factory.
