Christmas 2006

Presents 'neath the tree; cards and cookies atop the piano.

Noah is watching his big sister and doing everything she does. What can we learn from this?
All nestled in their sleeping bags for a long winter's nap.

The little red headed girl loves her puzzles.

Noah is at the mercy of his grandmother.

We took the children to The Niederman Family Farm to see the animals. "Look! There's a horse." Never mind the exotic llama, the wooly sheep or the friendly goats.

We walked the colorfully lighted path that tells the story of the life of Christ,

then returned to the Niederman's warm barn for cookies and hot chocolate. Yumm...

December 30: our anniversary.
We went to the Cincinnati Museum Center's Robert D. Lindner Family Omnimax Theater to see "Hurricane on the Bayou".

Two of the mosaics that remain at the Museum Center, originally the train terminal. The other mosaics featuring life in Cincinnati were long ago moved to the airport terminal.

After a relaxing dinner, we returned home for a piece of 'Harry & David's' decadent chocolate cake. We know how to celebrate!

Oh, yes, and a tulip bulb update. All of the bulbs have finally sprouted. Next time I will use an open container. A few bulbs have mold on them from lack of air circulation. More on their progress...
