The sign says it all!

The last weekend in September was the 12th annual Great Franklin County Antique Machinery Show. And I thought the Corn Festival in Xenia had a huge number and variety of tractors! Was I mistaken! Along with the tractors, there was a nice representation of steam engines, hit and miss engines, trucks and automobiles.

Even though the featured tractor was the Case, this 1917 Avery caught the eye of passers-by. The owner is a young man named 'Avery'.

What?!? An International Harvester sewing machine? A John Deere sewing machine?!? What else will we see?

A can crusher operated by a lawn tractor and a 'Jane Deere.' Made me smile...

Who do you know who would pull a plow with a Willis?

An original 'motor home'......... 'Who's your daddy?'

The saw mill was a newer feature at the Franklin County Antique Machinery Show. The sawyers spent quite a bit of time creating wood for the steam engines.

Threshing and baling were some of the more common sights at the show.

But, how fast do you think it will go? Hmm...

All in all, "A lot more than tractors on a hill!"
