Miss El's Birthday
Miss El with her Barbie birthday cake.
The Barbie birthday cake came in a Barbie house, of course.
The Barbie cake with six candles.
And, with a real Barbie doll on the inside!
Presents to be opened.
The best present of all - a 'Just Like Me' American Girl doll.
How fun!
Ellie with her siblings, her grandparents and her great-grandmother!
Happy Birthday, Miss El!

Xenia Old Timer's Days
We drove to Xenia on Friday.
Friday was 'old timers day.' Entrance fee was $1.00.
Oliver was the featured tractor.
There were many interesting things to see.
Here is a display of circus items made from erector sets.
The ferris wheel was solar powered.
We wandered around the field to the log splitting display.
Here are conventional logs that will go through the splitter.
How about these logs?
These three logs are from an ash tree.
Guess how much they weigh and you will win a prize.
What is your guess?
Show your work.

The Wedding
We drove to Minneapolis for my brother's wedding.
He and Liz were married at the Rush Creek Golf Course.
View of the golf course from the Skye Room.
Liz and Kate showing the grandchildren how to enter.
They would begin the bridal procession.
Fred and Liz with the grandchildren.
The two ladies and the two gentlemen on the right
are four years old.
Fred and Liz exchanging rings.
Fred and Liz; Fred's children and grandchildren.
The Hemker's and their spouses.
Thank you, Gerardo, for sharing your pictures.

As we drove home through Illinois, we were impressed by the
size of the windmill farms.

I have other pictures on my phone. That will be the challenge.
I'm quite happy that my camera is working again!
