Swimming with Katlyn

Last week, I got to watch swimming lessons up close. What a fun time.

First on the agenda is blowing bubbles.

Floating on your back is not the easiest thing to do...

Ring around the rosie, pockets full of posies. Ashes, ashes, we all fall down and blow bubbles!

Kaitlyn had fun in her swimming class today.
A visit with Noah.

Noah is 8 1/2 months old with five teeth. What a happy baby!

Noah is just about ready to crawl. This is as far as he gets.

Miami Valley Steam Show

We went to the Miami Valley Steam Show and Reunion. The featured tractor was the Massey-Harris. There were Massy-Harris tractors from Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, Minnesota, Wisconsin, New York, Ohio et al. A creative farmer made this tractor.

This Allis Chalmers is a bit different. The owner stretched it out and put in a 'hit and miss' engine. Another creative owner took the engine out of his tractor and put in a huge grill!

A Massey bicycle with wooden rims.

Another Massey bicycle with wooden rims.

This Advance steam engine was built in Battle Creek, Michigan. It was just noon and the steam engines in unison blew their whistles. What a noise!

Kaitlyn, with little feet busy in the 'pocket' that hangs from the arm of Noah's chair; Noah, trying to keep an upright position in his little chair; and me, the retired biker.

Kaitlyn is playing with Clifford - one of many of her 'friends'. Kaitlyn is three and is taking swimming lessons this summer. I can't wait to watch her in the pool!

'Look at me, look at me, look at me now! I can have fun and I really know how!' With apologies to Dr. Seuss. Noah is eight months old and has four teeth.
